Onda Events was founded by Aspen Ashworth to help mission-driven organizations create impactful, memorable events that strengthen communities and inspire supporters. With a background in donor and stakeholder engagement and an MSc in Business Strategy, Leadership, and Change, Aspen brings a strategic, organized, and people-centered approach to event planning.

Over the years, Aspen has planned and supported a wide range of events, including donor receptions, fundraising galas, community gatherings, networking events, nonprofit trainings, and stakeholder engagement initiatives. Through this work, she recognized the challenges many organizations face when balancing ambitious event goals with limited time, staffing, and resources. Onda Events was created to provide accessible, high-quality event planning and training services tailored to the unique needs of nonprofits and purpose-driven organizations.

In addition to full-service event support, Onda Events offers Event Foundations Training designed to equip nonprofit teams with the tools, systems, and confidence needed to plan successful events independently. Clients receive practical guidance, customizable templates, and actionable strategies that simplify the planning process and improve event outcomes.

The name “Onda,” meaning wave, ripple, or vibe, reflects the belief that meaningful events create lasting impact far beyond a single moment. Onda Events exists to help organizations build those moments- creating experiences that foster connection, elevate missions, and leave a lasting impression on attendees and communities alike.

Outside of event planning, Aspen enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and rescue kitty.
